Free UMass Shuttle Bus
There is a UMass shuttle bus which runs during the week, especially for those of you staying at the Doubletree hotel . It is a free service that runs quite regularly from the "T" (metro) station to the campus.
Inbound to campus it stops just down from the Doubletree, a few minutes walk, and on the reverse trip it stops right in front of the hotel. You can track the buses in real-time!
For anyone that enjoys a walk, there is the Harbor Walk. From the Doubletree you walk out the back of the building, through the enormous parking lot, then follow the path along the water, around the JFK Library, to the main lawn to the Campus Center. It takes 15-20 minutes.
