Scaling Up Nanoparticle Synthesis & Production

With the widespread application of nanomaterials in industry, upscaling the synthesis and purification of such materials becomes important. In this Master Class we will focus on both the theory and practicalities behind nanoparticle production and provide the participant an understanding of the challenges in the upscaling. The participant will learn the background, synthesis conditions, nanoparticle behaviour, purification, applications, and safety.

The presentations will be intermixed with demonstrations from pilot plant facilities where the upscaling of solvothermal nanoparticle production and purification will be used as a case.
